The President of Paraguay, Santiago Peña Palacios, made a historic state visit to India from June 2 to 4, 2025, at the invitation of Prime Minister Modi. During his visit, President Peña met with various key political leaders and state figures of India, as well as over 100 CEOs, traveling from New Delhi to Mumbai for these meetings. Accompanied by ministers, lawmakers, and business leaders, he signed important agreements — including a USD 150 million investment in a biofuel plant — strengthening ties in commerce, energy, education, technology, and other strategic sectors. This momentous visit marked a significant milestone in strengthening the diplomatic, economic, and cultural ties between Paraguay and India, 64 years after the establishment of diplomatic ties. 🇵🇾🤝🇮🇳 El presidente de Paraguay, Santiago Peña Palacios, realizó una histórica visita de Estado a la India del 2 al 4 de junio de 2025, por invitación del primer ministro Modi. Durante su visita, el presidente Peña se reunió con varias figuras políticas y autoridades relevantes de la India, así como con más de 100 CEOs, trasladándose de Nueva Delhi a Mumbai para llevar a cabo estos encuentros. Acompañado de ministros, legisladores y empresarios, firmó importantes acuerdos —incluyendo una inversión de 150 millones de USD en una planta de biocombustibles— fortaleciendo así los lazos en el comercio, la energía, la educación, la tecnología y otros sectores estratégicos. Esta histórica visita marca así un nuevo hito en el fortalecimiento de las relaciones diplomáticas, económicas y culturales entre Paraguay e India, 64 años después del inicio de sus relaciones.

PRESENTATION OF THE PARAGUAY THEATER GROUP - AXIOMA IN NEW DELHI, INDIA
The “Axioma Teatro Paraguay” cast, made up of girls and teenagers, directed by Paraguayan actress Lourdes Llanes, made successful presentations at the 16th Ryan International Children’s Festival in New Delhi, India from 10 to 21 December 2019.
The Axioma artistic group made several presentations, among which the play “The great treasure” written and directed by Professor Clari Zelada with presentations in English and Spanish language recognized by those present as one of the most brilliant presentations. They also performed Paraguayan traditional dance.
